We know that a high summer bill can be difficult to manage.

That's why DEMCO is offering a Summer Bill Relief Program that gives eligible residential members more time and flexibility to pay.

The program lets you pay 50% of an eligible September, October, or November bill upfront and spread the remaining 50% over the next three monthly bills.

DEMCO's tariff, approved by the Louisiana Public Service Commission in 2025, took effect in January 2026.
In the electric utility industry, a tariff is the official document that sets out a utility’s rates and terms of service. It explains how electric service is priced, how charges are calculated, and the rules that apply to providing service. It does not mean a tax or an additional charge on your electric bill.
