StrikeSafe? - For only $7.49 per month, StrikeSafe? provides surge protection for your home at the electric meter, telephone and cable connections-safeguarding your home from excessive and unsafe voltage levels. These protectors connect to the points-of-entrance to your home and provide a limited product warranty from the manufacturer for damage claims.

Although StrikeSafe? is not a "force-field" protecting the home from a direct or nearby lightning strike, it provides the best protection from voltage caused by lightning strikes and power surges from entering home through the electric meter, telephone and cable line. Although StrikeSafe? cannot protect you from everything Mother Nature has to offer, it provides an excellent first line of defense.

Load Management - The Load Management Terminal (LMT) is a service available to DEMCO member-owners which provides the member and cooperative the ability to work together on keeping electric rates affordable.

The LMT provides the customer a $5 per A/C unit savings on the monthly electric bill, while allowing DEMCO the ability to cycle the A/C compressor during peak utility usage. By allowing the cooperative to cycle the A/C unit, DEMCO can save costly electric purchases for the entire membership by reducing the peak demand for power during the hot summer months, subsequently reducing the wholesale purchase price of electricity. This is one of the key reasons why DEMCO has some of the lowest electric rates in the Gulf South region.

Touchstone Energy® Home - The Touchstone Energy® Home features a program designed to make your home energy efficient while providing an opportunity to qualify for a rebate up-to .10 cents per square foot of living area.
